25 people came to play on Christmas Eve for the 2011 Winter Solstice CTP Gift Spectacular!  We played 11 holes twice and had a CTP prize for each hole.  Pat B was the only one to win multiple CTPs resulting in 10 different players winning a CTP.

With large turnouts comes big leaderboard updages.  This week first place was worth 13 points, three more than any week this winter.  With a 3rd place finish, Mike F leaps into third place overall with just 7 apperances.  Eric W made his way into the top 15 after only his third showing.

People have been asking about the points, what they mean, what do you get, etc, and I have not really answered that yet. This is still just a test run to see if the scoring system works out in the end. It heavily favors participation over performance. I have a small prize for the top 15 that will be settled at this upcoming Saturday meeting. Next spring, we plan to announce something official and have some adjustments so missing a week or two will not kill you in the rankings.

Going into the last meeting of 2011, here is the current top 15. Ties are broken by number of appearances. If there is still a tie after that, we will figure something out this week.
