Eureka Safari Course!

When: Saturday May 17th. I'm trying to avoid the local tournaments, but most weekends were already filled. I know Plastic Addicts is having a tournament at Anna Page in Rockford on this day, but such is the disc golf world. Here is the link to their post. http://www.bndisc.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2488
I didn't know Pontiac was having a tournament on May the 10th until league on 4/16 or that original plan would have been perfect.

If you think Eureka is tough, wait till you get to play my safari course! You may ask yourself, how can there be a safari course at Eureka?! It is a tough course, but it makes you find paths through the woods and try some throws you would not normally take.

For example, one of the toughest holes: Think of throwing from just in front of basket #3 to basket #2, half way there you will be throw through the small, winding "w shaped" walking path. My suggestion and only hint is make placement shots. Don't be afraid to make a 35 ft throw to prepare for your next shot on this hole.

It will be played like a mini tournament and I will probably have a $10 pay in to allow a bigger payout, plus $1 ace( Two aces have happened on my safari course). Options to play both rounds or just one in the morning (9:30am) or the one in the afternoon (2:00 P.M.). Payout will be for each round. Maps will be available before hand at leagues so you can try to play the holes ahead of time. Think of Eureka being thrown backwards. I will try to get out there and flag the holes a few weeks before the safari round. This is a tough course, but lots of fun! I'm thinking of asking someone ot help me create some trophy dyes for some discs for some overall prizes between the two rounds, but it may end up just being printed 8x10 photos.
